License & DMCA
Last updated: August 29, 2026 · © 2026 4Piano.org · All rights reserved.
Who owns the apps
The Circle of Fifths, the seven-level Theory Flashcards, and Rainbow Gold Quest — together, the "Apps" — and every file, image, sound, and line of code they ship with, are copyrighted works owned by 4Piano.org (Brian Lee Westfall, Fort Worth, Texas, United States). All rights reserved.
What your subscription grants
An active 4Piano.org subscription or trial grants one person a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable right to run the Apps in a modern web browser at https://4piano.org, on up to five (5) devices simultaneously, for the length of the active subscription or trial period.
What you may not do
- Copy, mirror, re-host, redistribute, or make the Apps available on any other website or file share.
- Sell, rent, sublicense, or transfer your access to another person or account.
- Remove, alter, obscure, or work around any watermark, license notice, session gate, kill-switch guard, or copyright chip embedded in an App.
- Decompile, reverse-engineer, or extract portions of the Apps' source, assets, or sound samples for use outside 4Piano.org.
- Use any automated system to scrape, download, or replay the Apps or the license-server responses.
Each licensed copy of an App is served with a per-buyer watermark that cryptographically identifies the account it was issued to. A copy discovered outside 4Piano.org can be matched back to the account it was licensed to.
Third-party attributions
- Steinway piano samples: University of Iowa Electronic Music Studios (public domain).
- Typefaces: Google Fonts — Playfair Display and Inter (Open Font License) and the AIVD house fonts Urbanist & Bricolage (OFL).
